Opportunity description
When planning begins, the public infrastructure connection for the telecommunications connection may need to be taken into account. Possible redundancies and the connection of additional institute buildings (campus networking) must be included in the planning if required. The Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics in Hannover is connected to the public grid via the medium-voltage transfer station on Callinstraße. The medium-voltage installation is located as a customer substation in the basement of Building 3405. This station supplies 3 transformers with the following connected loads: 1600 KVA via circuit breaker, 1000 KVA via circuit breaker, and 630 KVA via high-voltage high-breaking-capacity fuse switch-disconnector. The 1600 KVA transformer is separately isolated and supplies a server installation (cluster) via its own low-voltage main distribution board in the transformer cell. The aforementioned installations must be designed for the institute’s future electricity demand and adapted to a common power level. A temporary supply must be established for switching over the transformer installations in order to maintain the institute’s operations in full. During implementation, particular attention must be paid to limiting downtime to a minimum. The need for an SV emergency power supply must be taken into account depending on requirements imposed by the authorities (sprinklers, mechanical smoke extraction, etc.). Special notice regarding bidder questions due to exceptional external events (e.g. SARS-CoV-2 or the war in Ukraine): When preparing your tender, please take into account any possible or foreseeable adverse effects, e.g. regarding the availability of materials and products, labor, any delayed provision of required evidence, effects on any subcontractors, etc. We ask that questions arising in this context be submitted in good time before the tender deadline via the eVergabe messaging system. Procedure: neg-w-call. Estimated value: 0.01 EUR. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
