Renovation of the sports and multipurpose hall, swimming pool hall roof Technical building equipment, heating, ventilation and plumbing Renovation of the sports and multipurpose hall, swimming pool hall roof The existing multipurpose hall (swimming pool and sports hall) is a central public facility for school and club sports as well as for other community uses in the municipality. It was built in 1977. The hall is regularly used by several local clubs, such as the gymnastics, cycling, football, model sports and music clubs, etc., as well as for school sports, and is occupied every day of the week (Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m.-11:30 p.m.). There is therefore a high quantitative need for the hall to remain permanently usable as an important component of the municipal infrastructure. During ongoing use, significant structural and technical deficiencies have become apparent, making renovation absolutely necessary. In particular, the current fire safety requirements are not met. Additional requirements for a fire alarm system and electroacoustic emergency warning system are in place. This poses a significant risk to the safe operation of the hall and already restricts its possible uses. The roofs of the entire complex comprising the multipurpose hall, swimming pool hall and foyer are severely leaking, resulting in moisture ingress. This impairs both the building fabric and the safe use of the hall and causes further damage to the building. Inside, almost all wastewater pipes are leaking and damaged, which is no longer acceptable from a structural, hygienic or environmental perspective. In addition, full accessibility is not provided. Measures are therefore also required in this area. In qualitative terms, the multipurpose hall in its current condition therefore no longer meets present-day requirements for safety, functionality, accessibility and sustainable operation. Renovation is urgently required to ensure proper and safe operation, prevent consequential damage and preserve the hall in the long term as a central sports and meeting venue for schools, clubs and the community. The roof of the sports hall, including the supporting structure, must be completely dismantled and rebuilt. The hall floor is also to be removed and reinstalled; the grandstand and walls are to be retained and must therefore be protected during the construction work. The sports hall and swimming pool hall will be upgraded in terms of fire safety and adapted to the existing requirements of the LRA. Since all buildings are supplied by a common heating system, a temporary system must be provided for the duration of construction. No renovations will be carried out in the interior fit-out (such as showers, toilets or changing rooms). These have already been renewed and are therefore not part of the measure. However, the wastewater pipes must be renewed. The underground pipes in the outdoor area must also be examined and, if necessary, renovated. The ventilation system has already been renewed; in the course of the measures, it must be dismantled, stored and subsequently reinstalled and connected. The same applies to the solar installations on the roofs of the foyer, connecting structure and swimming pool hall. The roofs also exhibit leaks. These are also to be dismantled and renewed. A roof shape that prevents standing water must be provided. Furthermore, measures to improve accessibility must be implemented. During the renovation of the multipurpose hall, attention will be paid to the use of sustainable, durable and resource-efficient building materials. Materials will be used that support high energy efficiency, minimize environmental impact and ensure a long service life. In addition, recyclability, environmental compatibility and low emissions will be considered when selecting building materials. This approach helps to reduce the ecological footprint of the renovation measures and to maintain the hall sustainably over the long term. Procedure: neg-w-call. Estimated value: 150,000 EUR.
