Opportunity description
Specialist planning for technical equipment, system group 7 – Kitchen technology systems. The subject of the procurement is the modernization and renewal of the existing canteen kitchen in the multipurpose Building 4 on the HSF Meißen campus. Specialist planning services for technical equipment in system group 7.1, kitchen technology systems, pursuant to § 53 et seq. in conjunction with No. 15.1 of Annex 15 HOAI, comprising planning services for service phases 2, 3 and 5 to 9, are to be performed. The entire service will be commissioned to one contractor. HSF Meißen consists of the University of Applied Sciences Meißen (FH) and the Continuing Education Center. In five departments, the University of Applied Sciences Meißen trains middle-management personnel for Saxon authorities and the judiciary. At the Continuing Education Center, state administration employees can undertake cross-departmental continuing education and professional development. The campus is located on the state-owned property at "Herbert-Böhme-Straße 11". It is situated on the right bank of the Elbe in the Cölln district of Meißen, not far from Meißen city center. The canteen kitchen is to continue providing approximately 1,000 meal portions daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The aim is to develop a modern kitchen concept that enables efficient and hygienic production throughout all process steps—from receipt of goods through storage and preparation to serving and dishwashing technology. The planning includes the functional revision and renewal of the existing kitchen areas, including the cooking, preparation, refrigeration and storage rooms, as well as the selection of suitable new commercial kitchen equipment. The existing workflows are to be reviewed and—where appropriate—optimized to ensure short distances, clear process chains and smooth kitchen operations. In addition, planning activities for a temporary kitchen are included in the scope of services so that ongoing operations can be maintained during the modernization. Operational interruptions are to be reduced to a minimum in order to ensure the continuous provision of meals. The construction project is to be completed within the estimated cost framework of EUR 1.0 million gross (KG 471) by the end of 2027.
