Building design services for the new construction of the Gronau fire station. The Dannstadt-Schauernheim collective municipality intends to construct a new Gronau fire station in the commercial area. The space program was determined in joint consultation meetings with the fire brigade. The site is to be developed with an access road for emergency personnel and a separate emergency exit. In principle, the staff facilities can be accommodated in a two-story section of the building. An adjoining vehicle hall will have 3 parking bays, storage areas, and workshops. The hygiene concept provides for a clear separation of contaminated and clean areas throughout, with a connection exclusively via the changing rooms. Parking spaces for emergency personnel, as well as a training area and outdoor storage areas, must also be provided on the site. In principle, the building, as part of the critical infrastructure, is to be constructed using solid construction. The site must be enclosed and secured with gate systems. The design planning must provide for the possibility of expansion to accommodate additional vehicles and personnel from the Rödersheim local fire brigade.
