Opportunity description

The subject of the construction project is the expansion of the B 5 to three lanes in the 2nd construction section north of Tönning over a length of approx. 4.0 km. The expansion will be carried out predominantly along the existing route with a standard cross-section of 15.50 m and alternating overtaking lanes. As part of the project, service roads will be constructed on both sides to provide access to the adjacent properties and supplement the road network. At Reimersbude, the L 32/K 34 will be connected to the B 5 without an at-grade intersection by means of a bridge structure. In addition, a total of seven watercourse bridges will be newly constructed or renewed, including bridges over the Spuitsieler, Reimersbuder and Witzworter Sielzug as well as dry culverts for otters. Construction will be carried out in sections while maintaining ongoing traffic.
