Germany – Engineering services – Overall planning for the Ohlstadt wastewater treatment plant

Opportunity description

The municipality of Ohlstadt is planning the construction of the new Ohlstadt wastewater treatment plant on the site of the existing wastewater treatment plant. The site is located directly next to the A 95 motorway at Wachtweg 1. The new construction provides for an activated sludge plant with aerobic sludge stabilization as the standard process). Existing plant components are to continue to be used or renovated. To the extent that this is economical and reasonable, existing buildings/plant components are to be partially reused or renovated, and partially demolished/dismantled and replaced. The new wastewater treatment plant is to be constructed on the basis of Variant 2 of the available concept study dated 06.10.2025, although construction of the new stormwater overflow basin is already being implemented. It is intended that anaerobic sludge stabilization will take place externally at the Murnau wastewater treatment plant. The overall planning contract will be awarded directly following the negotiated procedure. For the “Construction of the new Ohlstadt wastewater treatment plant,” services for the service profiles of civil engineering structures, structural planning, technical equipment and transport facilities will be commissioned in stages. In addition, special services in these service profiles will be commissioned. There is no entitlement to the commissioning of all service phases. The gross construction costs for the overall construction project in cost groups 100 to 700 are currently estimated at approximately €6.4 million. The first service stage is to be commissioned toward the end of 2026. Completion of the preliminary planning is scheduled for the end of 2027. Commissioning is to take place no later than 2030.
