Planning services in accordance with the HOAI and safety and health protection coordination in accordance with the BaustellV for the general overhaul of the East Mole of the Heligoland federal harbor. The island of Heligoland is located about 50 km west of the Schleswig-Holstein coast in the German Bight (North Sea). The Elbe-North Sea Waterways and Shipping Office (WSA E-N) operates and maintains a federally owned construction and berthing harbor here, extending across the South Harbor and the Outer Harbor. The Outer Harbor is enclosed, among other things, by the East Mole. Over a length of approximately 656 m, it protects the berths located there, as well as the adjacent landside harbor infrastructure, primarily from waves coming from southerly and easterly directions. The structure, which is in part more than 100 years old, is in poor condition and requires a comprehensive overhaul. The prerequisites for the structural implementation of the general overhaul of the East Mole are to be established. Extensive planning services must be provided, particularly for the designs in accordance with VV-WSV 2107 and the subsequent preparation of the invitation to tender for the construction services, predominantly project and specialist planning as well as other consultancy services pursuant to the Ordinance on Fees for Architectural and Engineering Services (Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers – HOAI). In the course of the design, approval and execution planning and during the subsequent execution of the construction work, services pursuant to the Ordinance on Safety and Health Protection on Construction Sites (Construction Site Ordinance – BaustellV) will also be required.
