Laboratory rooms for the department and research groups: -Cleanrooms and laser laboratories with optical tables and vacuum tanks for ALPS/VMB, LISA test conditions and Beyond LISA experiments. The tables have ISO 5 enclosures; a service corridor (gray room) will be connected at the rear of the laboratories. -Receiving, Cleaning, Testing and a multipurpose lab are ISO 7 or at least ISO 8 and are used to test new equipment or similar items and prepare them for cleanroom use. -Laser hall with 2 vacuum tanks and laser tables as a special experimentation area spanning 2 floors; separated by storage and with access from the rear section. -fs-comb laboratory: The light from the “clock laser” would have to be distributed to the other laboratories via fiber. -Electronics laboratory, chemistry laboratory and EMC operator.Information, if interim accommodation is required: The interim accommodation of Guido Müller with regard to office space is planned in LUH Building 3409 (at the same location), for which light refurbishment is required. For the laboratory area, a small space in the basement of Building 3406 is planned, as well as shared use of the laboratory areas in Prof. Danzmann’s section in the existing half of Hall 3405. The space requirements plan for the conversion of Building 3405 (hall) comprises approximately 1,240 m² NUF 1-6, predominantly highly serviced areas such as laboratories, cleanroom and experimentation hall, as well as some offices. Special note concerning bidder questions due to extraordinary external events (e.g. SARS-CoV-2 or the war in Ukraine): When preparing your tender, please take into account any possible or foreseeable impairments, e.g. regarding the availability of materials and products, labor, any delayed submission of required evidence, effects on any subcontractors, etc. We ask that questions arising in this context be submitted in good time before the tender deadline via the eVergabe messaging system.
