Opportunity description

Koblenzer Verkehrsbetriebe GmbH (koveb) is planning the accessible expansion of the stops located within its transport area. This comprises approx. 600 stopping points. In the upcoming third construction phase, the 31 stopping points specified in the project manual are to be made accessible. The subject of this invitation to tender is the planning services required for the accessible expansion of transport facilities and technical equipment; in addition, the requirements of the City of Koblenz's local transport plan must be observed as a subordinate set of regulations. Construction is scheduled to begin at the beginning of 2028. The preliminary construction costs amount to EUR 2.2 million net for KG 400 and KG 500. The remaining stops are to be put out to tender only after completion of this procedure, in further lots of this size. The current condition of the individual stops is set out in the project manual. Accordingly, the development status of the stops with regard to accessibility varies considerably. On the basis of the condition assessment, the contractor must evaluate the planning services required for performance of the services and propose them to the contracting authority for execution. The contracting authority had partial services prepared by IPROconsult GmbH, which form the basis of the invitation to tender. The respective planning status is also set out in the project manual. For some stopping points, service phase 1 is nearly complete; for two stopping points, substantial parts of service phases 1-4 have been completed. For two other stopping points, however, service phases 1-4 have been completed. The existing planning services must be used as the basis for further planning. However, no claim is made as to their completeness and accuracy. The results of the planning services must be evaluated during preparation of the tender and during subsequent performance of the contract. In particular, it must be assessed to what extent performance of the respective service phases is still necessary. For implementation of the project, the following are to be commissioned - Planning services for transport facilities, Section 47 HOAI, with the associated technical equipment, Section 55 HOAI, Sufficient lighting in accordance with DIN 13201. Commissioning in stages is envisaged. Initially, service phases 1-4 and subsequently service phases 5-9 (Sections 47, 55 HOAI) are to be commissioned. Procedure: neg-w-call.
