New construction of Reichenbach Children's Center The construction project involves the new construction of a daycare center in Reichenbach an der Fils. The two-story building will be constructed using timber-frame construction (exterior walls) and solid-timber construction (interior walls). The building has no basement and is located opposite the sports hall at Lützelbach. Until the start of the construction project, the site was used as a parking lot and has a slight slope to the south. Ground improvement is planned in the area of the building; the terrain will also be remodeled. There are several trees on the site that must be given special protection during the work. The tender includes, among other things: • Approx. 500 m² of silver fir timber facade, including substructure and thermal insulation • Roof edges, parapet and plinth cladding made of color-coated aluminum strip • Supply and install approx. 130 m of timber slats (cross-section 70×120 mm, individual length approx. 2.00 m) in the roof-edge area • Approx. 20 m of timber slats (individual length approx. 6.00 m), including load-bearing steel substructure • Approx. 70 m of timber slats as fall protection on balconies and exterior staircases • Subsequent execution: construction of an approx. 5 m² outbuilding in timber construction, including insulation and aluminum roof and wall cladding Procedure: open.
