Ten fire engines – HLF 20 in accordance with DIN 14530-27 The purpose of the invitation to tender is the procurement of ten HLF 20 firefighting and rescue vehicles in accordance with DIN 14530-27 for the Braunschweig Fire Brigade. Due to local conditions, certain requirements deviate from the specifications of DIN 14530-27; this is identified accordingly in the specifications. Five vehicles are intended for use by the professional fire brigade, while the other vehicles will be used at volunteer fire brigade locations. The delivery time is stated as 1 day under EU 5.1.3 in the notice text because each vehicle will be delivered on a specific day. The first vehicle is initially intended as a prototype. Following delivery, it will be used in training and operational service for a period of 6–8 weeks and thus undergo an extended acceptance procedure. After this vehicle, the remaining vehicles are each to be delivered in pairs, with an interval of 12 weeks between individual deliveries, which must not exceed 16 weeks. Procedure: open.
