Opportunity description

Trosdorf Volunteer Fire Department - Procurement of a new LF 10 firefighting vehicle. The Municipality of Bischberg intends, in accordance with the Guidelines for Grants from the Free State of Bavaria for the Promotion of Municipal Fire Services (Fire Service Grant Guidelines, FwZR), to procure a new LF 10 firefighting vehicle for the Trosdorf Volunteer Fire Department in 2026. The vehicle must meet the requirements of standard DIN 14530-5:2019-11 and be able to accommodate at least one firefighting group (1/5) as well as firefighting equipment in accordance with the current standards of the Regensburg State Fire Service School. This procurement is an essential component of the strategic further development of the firefighting technology and equipment of the Trosdorf Fire Department. The need to procure a new LF 10 was already incorporated into the 2024 update of the fire service requirements plan (GR TOP 107/2024) for the years 2027/2028. The LF 8/6 from 1994 that is currently in service has now reached the end of its service life and no longer meets current requirements in terms of safety, technology and operational capability.
