Opportunity description

The objective of the procurement is to acquire a powerful, scalable and user-friendly software solution that supports the contracting authority in efficient, quality-assured and data-protection-compliant translation in customer contact. The contracting authority will conclude with the contractor a framework agreement for the provision and management service of licenses for cloud-based translation software - text/document translation and conversation mode/voice - for a period of 2 years, with the option to extend it by 2 x one additional year. The objective of the procurement is to acquire a powerful, scalable and user-friendly software solution that supports the efficient, quality-assured and data-protection-compliant translation of scientific, administrative and technical content. The solution must be suitable both for automated translations and for the integration of human translation services and must, in particular, meet the requirements for multilingualism in customer communication. In addition, the subject matter of the services includes the provision of a central license and user management service as well as the provision of support and maintenance services throughout the entire term of the framework agreement. The translation software to be offered must be provided as a cloud-based solution. Local installation on servers or end devices of the respective contracting authority is not envisaged and will not be accepted. An app will be provided for Apple mobile devices.
