Germany – Haemodialysis multiposition – Supply of continuous haemodialysis machines and consumables

Opportunity description

The subject of this procurement is the supply of approximately 60 continuous haemodialysis machines and the associated consumables for dialysis treatments as required over the entire contract term. Vivantes Netzwerk für Gesundheit GmbH (hereinafter referred to as Vivantes) operates hospitals at eight locations (dependent operating sites), as well as other healthcare and social facilities in Berlin, with more than 20,649 employees. With approximately 206,278 inpatient cases and approximately 377,061 outpatient cases annually, Vivantes treats approximately 30 percent of all hospital patients in Berlin. Approximately 5,928 hospital beds are available in more than 100 clinics and medical institutes for the inpatient treatment of patients. The Vivantes Group also includes twenty-one nursing homes, two senior residences, an outpatient rehabilitation facility, medical care centres, an outpatient nursing service, a hospice, and subsidiaries for catering, cleaning and laundry. The individual locations are distributed throughout the entire urban area of Berlin. High-quality medical, nursing and socio-therapeutic treatment is ensured in all facilities. A comprehensive quality management system ensures the continuous further development of quality. All Vivantes hospitals are academic teaching hospitals of Charité. Vivantes is Germany's largest municipal hospital group; its sole shareholder is the State of Berlin. Under a supply and framework supply agreement with one company (framework agreement partner), with an initial term of 48 months—with three options to extend by a further 24 months each from the date of contract award—Vivantes expects to procure the following number of continuous dialysis machines and the associated consumables for the treatment of dialysis patients: Continuous haemodialysis machine: approximately 60 units Consumables: Products for all intended dialysis treatment procedures For call-offs under the framework supply agreement for consumables, a maximum purchase value of EUR 7.1 million net applies across all consumables for the entire contract term (including the option period).
