The subject of this procurement procedure is the replacement construction of a sheet pile wall in the Eisenkai area in Emden. Rehabilitation of a section of the South Quay in Emden Inland Harbour. During a structural inspection, it was found that the western section of the South Quay requires rehabilitation. For this reason, a new sheet pile wall is to be installed in front of the existing bank revetment in this area. The construction method is to be based on the section of the South Quay adjoining to the east, which was likewise reinforced in the years 1978-1980 by means of a sheet pile wall installed in front of it. In addition, adaptation and renewal of the surface paving in the terminal area are planned. Furthermore, the waterside berthing area for port cargo handling is to be adapted. *********** The contractor is essentially required to carry out the following work: +++ Technical processing / expanded execution planning, +++ Construction site setup and clearance, +++ Demolition and dismantling work +++ Pile-driving and deep-foundation work +++ Concrete and reinforced-concrete work +++ Earthworks and wet dredging work +++ Equipment (bollards, access ladders, etc.) +++ Explosive ordnance detection and recovery +++ Asphalt paving and/or traffic-area construction work +++ Drainage work Initial information on the services to be provided can be found in the documents from the tender phase already attached in excerpts for the information of applicants, particularly the draft project contract, the specifications Part A and Part B, and the bill of quantities. +++++The procurement procedure will be conducted in two stages. In the first stage, the participation competition, the contracting authority will assess the suitability of the applicants with regard to the services that are the subject of the procedure.
