Together with the cafeteria, the sports hall, and the sports facilities, the Profilschule forms the school complex. It was built between 1963 and 1971, expanded several times, and used for a long time by a Realschule. With the phasing out of the Realschule on 31 July 2016, the new type of school (Profilschule) uses the former buildings. In order to consolidate the Profilschule site in Ascheberg, the former Hauptschule in Herben will be abandoned. To this end, the existing buildings must be extended, converted, and renovated. The new site will consist of three buildings (Building A (2), Building B (3), and Building C (1)) plus a lightweight utility building. Upon completion of the project, Building A (2) will be a renovated existing building, while Building C (1) and Building B (3) will each be a new building. The construction work put out to tender here concerned the installation of the wood-aluminum composite windows/exterior doors for Building A. Procedure: open.
