New Construction of the Reichenbach Children’s Center The construction project involves the new construction of a childcare center in Reichenbach an der Fils. The two-story building will be constructed using timber-frame construction (exterior walls) and solid-timber construction (interior walls). The building does not have a basement and is located opposite the sports hall on the Lützelbach. Until the start of the construction project, the property was used as a parking lot and has a slight slope toward the south. Ground improvement is planned in the area of the building; the terrain will also be remodeled. There are several trees on the property that must be given special protection during the work. The contents of the invitation to tender include, among other things: - Planning and documentation services: Preparation of workshop and installation planning for window elements comprising 44 window elements, 22 of which include floor-to-ceiling doors/windows - Access doors (main entrance / secondary entrances): Entrance door systems and secondary entrance doors, including equipment such as electric door control units (in accordance with EN 13637), time switches for drop-off and pick-up times, and finger protection devices. - Window and French-door elements: High-quality wood-aluminum window constructions (including fixed glazing, tilt-and-turn sashes, and balcony doors) with increased sound insulation requirements (up to Rw ≥38 dB) and integrated finger-trap protection. - Smoke and heat exhaust system: Equipping ribbon windows with electric chain drives, smoke and heat exhaust buttons, heat differential detectors, and an automatic rain-wind control system, including commissioning. - Sun protection & fall protection: Supply and installation of external textile sun protection (zip systems) and fall-protection glazing elements. - Window sills & accessories: Installation of exterior and interior aluminum window sills, including professional insulation.
