Opportunity description

The construction project involves a new school building to be constructed, which is to be classified as a structure of a special type or use (special building). Under building law, the building is to be classified in building class 5. The building is planned as a hybrid timber structure; only the structural components serving horizontal bracing are planned in reinforced concrete. The timber load-bearing structure is planned as a skeleton structure, and the floor slabs are planned as timber rib structures and consist of main downstand beams running in an east-west direction as well as a cross-laminated timber slab. A school already exists adjacent to the construction site, consisting of a main building, pavilions, cafeteria / Ottoneum and sports hall. The aging ensemble will be abandoned and replaced by the new building on the construction site adjoining the school to the east. The existing sports hall, the cafeteria and the so-called Ottoneum (music pavilion) will be renovated and integrated into the overall concept. Wooden interior doors with different sound insulation and fire protection requirements: 195 single-leaf wooden interior doors with wooden frames, 40 double-leaf wooden interior doors with wooden frames, 40 single-leaf wooden interior doors with steel frames, 37 overhead door closers for single-leaf doors, 1 overhead door closer for double-leaf doors, 10 free-swing door closers for single-leaf doors, 14 overhead door closers with electromechanical hold-open devices for single-leaf doors, 6 swing door operators for single-leaf doors, 2 swing door operators for double-leaf doors, 27 wireless ceiling smoke detectors, 307 floor-mounted door stops, 142 wall-mounted door stops.
