On the heavily used section of Line 1700 between Lindhorst and Minden, the existing Selbstblock 60 systems are in a severely deteriorated condition. There is a prohibition on modifications, and many spare parts are no longer available. In order to continue to ensure the availability of the line, the section between the entry signal at Rehren station and the entry signal at Minden station, including the stations of Lindhorst, Stadthagen, Kirchhorsten and Bückeburg, is to be converted to electronic interlocking technology (ESTW). In principle, the project is to be based on the preliminary planning for ESTW Minden for the corresponding section, albeit with some adjustments. Procedure: neg-wo-call.
