Opportunity description

Civil engineering, electrical and cable support structure works for street lighting and traffic signal systems as part of the Tram Westtangente (TWT) project for Construction Phase 1, starting from Wotanstraße, including the Laim underpass and the environmental transport tunnel (UVR), to beyond the junction with Gaßnerstraße. The Building Department is commissioned by Stadtwerke München GmbH to carry out adaptations and new construction measures on the traffic engineering infrastructure as part of the TWT (new railway track construction). The Building Department, Main Division Civil Engineering, is conducting the tender for street lighting and traffic control technology in the name and for the account of Stadtwerke München GmbH. Upon transmission of an order form for the respective measure by Stadtwerke München GmbH, the Building Department, Main Division Civil Engineering, T3, is commissioned to adapt the street lighting and traffic signal systems. The City of Munich Building Department, Main Division Civil Engineering, carries out the street lighting and traffic control technology measures in the name and for the account of Stadtwerke München GmbH. For the services in this tender, the City of Munich undertakes site supervision (construction management), accepts from the contractor the completed construction work for a self-contained service, and checks the measurements. For the “Tram Westtangente” construction project in the City of Munich, 8.3 km of tram line with 17 stops will be built. The line construction is divided into several construction phases. Construction Phase (BA) 1 is located on Wotanstraße, including the Laim underpass and the environmental transport tunnel (UVR), and extends to beyond the junction with Gaßnerstraße. Civil engineering measures for the street lighting and traffic safety installations are required for this purpose. Within the scope of services tendered here, route excavations will be carried out predominantly in both sidewalk areas over a route length of approx. 1.5 km. In the area west of Romanplatz, minor work has already been carried out in a preliminary project. The main construction work for BA1 comprises: approx. 2,200 m of cable trench approx. 25,000 m of cable installation approx. 5,000 m of empty conduit installation approx. 75 street lighting poles approx. 45 guying systems for suspended cable luminaires approx. 7 traffic signal systems dismantled and reinstalled, 1 conversion Procedure: open.
