Opportunity description
The subject of the procurement procedure is aviation operational liability insurance, including terrorism liability insurance (hereinafter: "aviation operational liability insurance"), for BER Airport for the years 2027 and 2028, incl. optional co-insurance for ILA 2028 event organizer's liability insurance. The contract term is initially one year and begins on January 1, 2027. Upon expiry of the contract term, the contract shall be extended once for a further year unless it is terminated in writing with 6 months' notice before expiry of the contract term. The maximum contract term is 2 years, so that the contractual relationship shall end no later than the end of December 31, 2028. The insured sum under the aviation operational liability insurance is EUR 1.3 billion, incl. terrorism liability insurance pursuant to AVN52 in the amount of USD 350 million. Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, 12521 Berlin, including all existing and newly added subsidiaries and legally dependent permanent establishments and branches, shall be insured. Coverage of airport-specific risks, in particular operational liability, building owner's liability, aviation events, personal liability during business trips, hunting liability, custodial liability (for aircraft), aviation product liability, and environmental liability insurance (basic coverage).
