Web-based reporting in workplace health promotion: external IT support Pursuant to Section 20b(1) SGB V, there is a statutory obligation to assess the health situation in companies. Suitable instruments offered by the AOK for recording the health situation include analyses of sickness absence. For this purpose, every six months the AOKs provide sickness absence data from their records to the Scientific Institute of the AOK (WIdO) within the AOK Federal Association; the data are prepared for the web-based reports offered by WIdO and aggregated into nationwide comparative data. These web-based reports are made available to the AOKs automatically and are accessed by users more than 20,000 times annually. Users are AOK consultants in the field of workplace health promotion who provide companies with sickness absence reports. These analyses are a prerequisite for the AOK's advice and support for companies in implementing sustainable health-promoting structures in the workplace. The reports present sickness absence according to different requirements for individual companies, groups of companies and regions. The subject of the procurement is the continuous expansion and further development of existing functions of the various web applications for the company-level and regional analysis of sickness absence data and troubleshooting in the use of the web-based software components (support).
