Opportunity description

The operation and further development of the existing video communication platform for device- and browser-independent communication with BA customers must continue to be ensured. Video communication with customers has been an established channel for customer communication at the BA since the pandemic-related closures of offices and service buildings in 2019/2020. The video communication platform (VK), including all components, is currently set up and operational. Most recently, video communication was strengthened by Directive 202502006 "Close to the Customer". The legislator is discussing making video communication more binding in order to place it on an equal footing with an in-person conversation on site. The subsequent procurement will take effect from 01.12.2026, meaning that the period between the end of VK-DL 2022 (31.08.2026) and the start of the new procurement (01.12.2026) must be bridged in order to continue ensuring the smooth running of the offices' day-to-day operations. The operation and further development of the existing video communication platform for device- and browser-independent communication with BA customers must continue to be ensured. The aim is to continue providing the video communication platform with a high level of operational reliability. External services are required for this purpose. These include: - VK operational service: Ensuring secure and stable operation - VK development service: Adaptation of operational routines and VK components - Expansion of VK components / VK products where urgently required with regard to the implementation of legislative changes - VK support for customer end devices: Continuous verification of potential customer end devices for functionality on the VK platform - Studio production & post-production operator activities Procedure: neg-wo-call.
