Opportunity description

An internet-based central data exchange platform (Data Hub) is required for the hydrogen market area in accordance with the BNetzA WasABi determination, through which all relevant market and network information will be exchanged automatically between market participants and made available. The "Data Hub" is intended to be a central technological element for the creation of the hydrogen market area, the development and operation of which are an essential component of this procurement. The Data Hub is intended to form the central technical and functional exchange layer for all relevant market communication processes in the hydrogen market area. It serves as a data hub for the standardized, secure and traceable exchange of market messages between market partners. It provides open interfaces through which communication relationships can be expanded flexibly. Conformity and load tests (e.g. rate limit tests, retry mechanisms, stop confirmations) are also planned to ensure integration capability and reliable interoperability. The BNetzA WasABi determination stipulates that the Data Hub must be established by 01.07.2027 and then tested with market participants in an introductory phase until 01.01.2028. A portal will additionally be provided via the Data Hub, serving as the central information and access layer. Furthermore, the Data Hub supports the registration and user administration process for market participants, including role and authorization concepts as well as the transfer of relevant registration data to the connected systems.
