The contract is being awarded by Grün Berlin on behalf of DB InfraGO AG. With the planning approval decisions for the Dresdner Bahn project, measures on the areas of the so-called Mauergrünzug in Berlin-Pankow are designated as a compensatory measure. The work includes the felling of 426 tree trunks (StU 30-150 cm), the ground-level cutting back of 11,365 m² of extensive woody growth (height 2.0 - 8.0 m), and maintenance pruning of 56 ornamental cherry trees.
