Opportunity description
To accommodate rising student numbers, the municipality is constructing a four-stream, six-grade Realschule for approximately 770 students based on the modern educational “learning house concept.” The construction project comprises the redesign of all outdoor facilities on plots 253 and 254 (school grounds on Taufkirchner Straße) as well as 256/1 and 255/6 (outdoor sports facility on Hohenbrunner Straße, opposite the waterworks). The subject of the invitation to tender is the construction of the outdoor facilities, which are divided into four core areas. Vehicular and pedestrian access is provided via an asphalt access road and paved footpaths from Hohenbrunner Straße, as well as a direct connection to the eastern S-Bahn pedestrian and cycle path. Drainage is provided by granite curbstones and swale channels. The planned parking lot combines asphalt traffic lanes with parking spaces made of grass-jointed paving, provisions for three EV charging stations, and a covered waste storage area. To the west, a large paved schoolyard with a planted island, an all-weather sports court including a long-jump pit, a calisthenics facility, and a green classroom with concrete grandstand and sun protection will be created. The main entrance in the southeast will be designed as a spacious plaza with a tree island and will connect directly to the covered bicycle parking spaces, the school garden, a learning area, and an infiltration swale. The school grounds will be completely fenced and landscaped with greenery. In addition, an courtyard without an underlying structure is to be designed in building section B. Since it is accessible only on foot, machinery and materials must necessarily be brought in by crane. 1 Main works: approximately 1,575 m³ of area-wide soil excavation and construction of approximately 1,000 m³ of utility trenches. Load and dispose of approximately 2,700 t of topsoil (Z0) and approximately 1,850 t of fill soil (Z0 to >Z2). Construct/rework approximately 7,000 m² of subgrade and install approximately 1,960 m³ of frost-protection and gravel base course. Construct approximately 1,250 m² of asphalt base and surface course for access roads/parking lots (including sealing approximately 430 m of joints). Supply and lay approximately 3,430 m² of concrete block paving (courtyard areas, paths, and eco-paving). Install approximately 1,100 m of granite curbstones and approximately 220 m of flat-steel edging. Lay approximately 290 m of ribbed slabs and approximately 6 m² of tactile indicators for a guidance system for the blind. Install approximately 1,255 m² of impermeable synthetic surfacing (earth yellow) on asphalt and approximately 150 m² of EPDM impact protection. Erect approximately 525 m of double-wire mesh fencing (H=1.83 m) and approximately 103 m of ball-stop fencing (H=6.0 m). Install 2 sliding gates (up to 5.5 m wide, some electrically operated) and 3 swing gates. Install approximately 87 m of concrete grandstand steps and construct 33 socket foundations for luminaires. Install approximately 290 m² of façade gratings and grid gratings, including angle frames, on a curbstone substructure. Construct 1 waste enclosure (25 m², steel/wood) and supply 3 Corten steel raised beds (Ø 6.6 m) with seating surfaces. Install more than 330 bicycle parking spaces (bicycle rack segments) as well as various sports-field equipment (basketball, volleyball, calisthenics). Install approximately 64 m of fiber-reinforced concrete channels, approximately 165 m of paved swale channel, and 38 courtyard/road drains. Lay approximately 235 m of PP sewer pipe (DN 100/150) and approximately 1,150 m of electrical protective conduit (DN 125). Produce and install approximately 3,280 m³ of topsoil mixture for planting areas and tree pits. Plant and anchor 74 large trees (StU 12-18 to 18-25). Supply and plant approximately 12,440 hedge plants, shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses.
