Opportunity description

As part of the ESTW Flörsheim project, the signalling technology on sections of routes 3603 and 3525 is being renewed. This invitation to tender covers the construction works, including the detailed design (AP), for the renewal of a total of eight level crossings, divided into four lots. The subject of the services comprises the necessary earthworks and specialized civil engineering works, track superstructure works, the conversion and new construction of the level crossings, including road and drainage systems, as well as the construction and adaptation of the cable and civil engineering infrastructure. The level crossing at km 13,240 is located on the Frankfurt-Sindlingen – Hattersheim section. Internally within the railway, this level crossing is also referred to as Post 15. The level crossing at km 17,455 is located on the Hattersheim – Flörsheim section. Internally within the railway, this level crossing is also referred to as Post 19. The level crossing at km 18,847 is located on the Hattersheim – Flörsheim section. Internally within the railway, this level crossing is also referred to as Post 20. The level crossing at km 24,905 is located on the Flörsheim station – Kostheim junction section. Internally within the railway, this level crossing is also referred to as Post 26. At km 6,035, Schmalweg crosses railway route 3525 Mainz-Mombach – MainzBischofsheim at grade. Internally within the railway, the level crossing is also referred to as Post 2. At km 6,894, Steinern Straße crosses railway route 3525 Mainz-Mombach Mainz-Bischofsheim at grade. Internally within the railway, the level crossing is also referred to as Post 3. At km 7,860, Hochheimer Straße (B40) crosses railway route 3525 MainzMombach – Mainz-Bischofsheim at grade. Internally within the railway, the level crossing is also referred to as Post 4.
