The Knappschaft Hospital in Sulzbach is planning to establish intensive care facilities in an extension building. The building will adjoin the existing building in the area of the current main entrance. The building consists of a basement and a ground floor. The new main entrance will then once again be assigned to this building. As part of this new construction, it will be necessary to completely relocate the main entrance for the duration of the construction phase. Temporary access is to be provided via a pedestrian bridge, consisting of a temporary scaffolding structure, from the parking lot into the entrance hall. After completion of this measure, the existing main entrance will be dismantled. The retaining wall will initially remain in place.
