Procurement of two IBM PowerPlatform E1180 systems (model 9080-HEU), incl. Full Managed Service contract under a hire-purchase model. Heidelberg University Hospital (hereinafter also referred to as the "contracting authority" or "AG") operates its own SAP environment on an IBM Power Platform. Operation of the IBM Power Platform up to the AIX/Linux layer is outsourced to a partner. This partner operates the servers, operating systems and PowerHA clusters. From 1 January 2027, UKHD plans to contractually reorganize the existing operational service. As part of the transition, some of the IBM Power systems must also be replaced. The systems are to be acquired under a hire-purchase model over a period of 5 years. The bidder with the most economically advantageous tender will be awarded the contract and will thereby become the contractor (hereinafter also referred to as "AN"). Procedure: open.
