Germany – Mainframe hardware – Delivery, installation and configuration of a redundant storage system

Opportunity description

The contract is for the delivery, installation and configuration of a redundant storage system at the data center (RZ) sites on Celler Straße and Holwedestraße near the management offices of skbs, including service/support. Städtisches Klinikum Braunschweig gGmbH plans to replace the central storage solution currently used to provide storage resources for the virtualization platform (ESX cluster). This environment is to be modernized or replaced due to increased data volumes. The proposed solution is to be operated as a geographically redundant storage system at two of the hospital's sites. Due to the increased future requirements from database and AI solutions, special emphasis is placed on very high performance and very low latency when accessing the data.
