Germany – Market research services – Preparation and implementation of a comparative population survey

Implementation of an international, comparative online population survey in ten countries (2027) and a second survey wave in Germany (2028) as part of the "Inequality Barometer" project at the Cluster of Excellence "The Politics of Inequality" at the University of Konstanz. The services include, inter alia, questionnaire development, translation, programming, pretests, fieldwork, data preparation, anonymization, and documentation. The subject of the contract is the preparation and implementation of an international, comparative population survey in ten countries and a second survey wave in Germany. The services to be provided include in particular: - Review and further development of the questionnaires (German/English) - Professional translation of the questionnaires into several languages - Programming/implementation of the questionnaires on an online survey platform - Cognitive and quantitative pretests in selected countries - Sample selection and fieldwork according to specified quotas in all countries - Data preparation, weighting, anonymization, and assurance of GDPR compliance - Preparation of codebooks and field reports, and delivery of data in STATA format. The contract is designed as a single overall contract without subdivision into lots, as methodologically uniform management and consistent data quality across all countries and survey waves are required.
