The procurement by DRK Kliniken is divided into two lots: Lot 1: Procurement of Clients Lot 2: Procurement of Medical Clients Participation in the procedure is restricted pursuant to Section 118(1), Variant 1 GWB to sheltered workshops for people with disabilities and reserved for companies whose main purpose is the social and professional integration of people with disabilities or disadvantaged persons. DRK Kliniken Berlin operates an extensive IT infrastructure at several locations in Berlin to support clinical and administrative processes. As part of the ongoing modernization and planned IT lifecycle management, extensive replacement procurements and new procurements of client systems are required. The existing end devices at the Westend, Köpenick, Mitte, Mariendorf and Schwesternschaft locations have reached the end of their operating life (End-of-Life, EOL) or will reach this status in the coming years. An orderly, standardized renewal of the client infrastructure is therefore necessary to ensure safe and efficient hospital operations on a permanent basis. The procurement comprises the following device categories for Lot 1: - Standard-User Micro-Desktop (Item 1): Compact workstation PCs for standard clinical workplaces (ward, nursing, doctors’ rooms, administration) - Advanced Client / Power Desktop (Item 2): More powerful desktop systems for advanced clinical workplaces and power users - High-End / Diagnostic Workstations - Workstation (Item 3): Professional workstations for radiological and image-processing applications - Standard Notebook (Item 4): Business notebooks for general clinical and administrative purposes - Premium Notebook (Item 5): High-performance notebooks for key users, medical management and IT workplaces The estimated requirement for the period 2026-2029 can be found in the price sheet (LV_Preisblatt_Clients_Los 1_Los 2) DRK Kliniken Berlin operates an extensive IT infrastructure at several locations in Berlin (Westend, Köpenick, Mitte, Mariendorf, Schwesternschaft) to support clinical processes. In areas close to patients—particularly on wards, in operating rooms and on nursing carts—specialized medical all-in-one clients are used that must meet special hygiene, safety and operational requirements. The existing medical clients (e.g. März A248J, Dell OptiPlex in operating-room environments) have reached the end of their operating life (End-of-Life, EOL) or will reach this status in the near future. An orderly renewal is therefore necessary to maintain safe clinical operations and meet hygiene and patient-safety requirements. Lot 2 comprises the procurement of the following medical hardware: - Medical Clients - Medical All-in-One Systems (Item 1): Specialized Medical-Grade terminals for use on wards, in operating rooms, on nursing carts and in areas close to patients. An essential component of the procurement is the integration of the Medical Clients into existing rounds and nursing work carts (e.g. März Hosp.IT Mobil P0/4i Li), including conversion, commissioning and functional testing as a service.
