SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, as a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), has the task of planning, constructing, maintaining and managing school properties in accordance with economic principles while taking school-related needs into account, and of leasing the more than 400 schools to the Ministry of Schools and Vocational Education (BSB). --------------- The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, represented by SBH, plans to expand the Heinrich-Hertz-Schule with a new building (use: cafeteria areas, specialist classrooms and general teaching rooms). The new building structure adjoins the existing library to the west without being functionally connected to it by a passageway. The new building reinforces the appearance of the school street by drawing on the existing building in terms of material, appearance and form. The main entrance to the new building is clearly located centrally beneath the three-storey part of the building. Also located in the area of the main entrance is an additional side entrance that enables the students to reach the cafeteria by the shortest route. The cafeteria kitchen is supplied via the access point in the east. Food is delivered by trolley through the entrance on the east side, which is provided with a canopy. Here, the goods are unpacked, inspected and sorted into internal containers. Beneath the 3-storey structure, there is a generous recess toward the schoolyard that can be used as a covered break area. Centrally located and quickly accessible on the ground floor are the cafeteria with kitchen and kiosk, the specialist classrooms and the room for students and teaching kitchen. The cafeteria is an assembly venue. On the 1st upper floor, there are additional cafeteria areas and specialist classrooms with corresponding ancillary rooms and differentiation areas. On the 2nd upper floor, there are the general teaching rooms together with differentiation areas. To generate the maximum educational area, the areas are arranged into compartments. This allows corridors to be furnished and functionally used as an extension of the classroom areas. Technical equipment is located on the roof areas and will be clad with a metal louver façade on the 2-storey structure. The technical equipment on the 3-storey structure will not receive an enclosure. --------------- Here: Metal Construction Façade --------------- The attached bill of quantities describes the metal construction and façade work for the construction of a three-storey new school building (GFA approx. 3,600 m²). The scope of services includes the production and installation (including glazing) of windows in various sizes (as wood-aluminium windows - integral window), exterior doors and 1 mullion-transom construction (exterior façade - entrance), including insert doors and insert windows. After completion of the work, the building envelope is sealed. The fittings, hinges, handles and installation frames made of insulation blocks (as a front-wall installation system) are part of the work to be performed. Procedure: open.
