Opportunity description

The tendered works comprise all exterior metal construction works for the existing building and the new building, including the necessary dismantling works in connection with modified openings as well as the necessary replacement of elements in connection with sound insulation and fire protection requirements in Hall 2. The working and protective scaffolding required for the metal construction works outside the building will be provided by the client, unless separately mentioned in the item. Areas for the temporary setup of the construction site facilities and for use as temporary storage space for accumulated material are available in accordance with the construction site facilities plan. Water, electricity and wastewater connections will be provided through the separate award of the Central Construction Site Facilities contract. The following main works are to be carried out: · Dismantling works on window and door systems as a result of modified openings and fire protection requirements. · New plastic windows on the 2nd and 3rd upper floors, including light wells, as well as sun protection · Plastic windows for upgrading historically retained steel windows · New light-well roofing · Aluminum-glass window and door systems in the existing façade · Refurbishment of remaining aluminum windows and door systems as well as non-historic steel windows · Mullion-transom façades · Steel doors and gates · Industrial folding gates To accelerate the construction project, two-shift execution is to be assumed.
