An interior renovation is to be carried out for the “Services and Commerce” Vocational School of the Hanseatic and University City of Rostock, consisting of two school buildings with a total of 57 classrooms, laboratories and specialist rooms. The theory building (Building I) is a GBR 85 standard-design school building, and the practical training building (Building II) is a WBS 70 standard-design school building constructed by VEB Wohnungsbaukombinat Rostock. Both buildings were constructed in the 1980s. The gross floor area is approximately 4,950 m² for Building I and 3,770 m² for Building II. The project concerns the modernization and design of the building interiors, as the exterior envelope has already been renovated. The main construction measures are: - Complete replacement of all wall and ceiling coverings, floor coverings, interior and fire doors, and the locking system - Installation of acoustic ceilings in classrooms and preparation rooms, administrative rooms and corridors - Complete renovation of the toilet facilities, including screed, tiles and sanitary partitions - Construction of solid shafts across all floors for ventilation ducts - Replacement of all building services (heating, ventilation, electrical systems, ELA, SiBe) - New roof penetrations for wastewater and ventilation pipes, installation of ventilation units on the roof A further focus is the complete replacement of the equipment and furnishings. This includes all furniture and technical equipment as well as the specific equipment for the individual specialist departments. Manufacture, delivery and installation of furniture consisting of 350 tables, 23 PC workstations, 512 seating units, and 95 cabinets and shelving units. Specifically, the service includes, inter alia: - 290 student / teacher desks - 29 computer desks - 31 tables (various sizes and shapes) - 23 height-adjustable PC workstations - 349 student chairs - 41 swivel office chairs - 92 chairs / stools - 30 benches - 83 cabinets (sliding-door/hinged-door) - 10 shelving units (various lengths and depths) - 2 sideboards - 74 magnetic panels Procedure: open.
