The objective is to renew the existing firewall infrastructure to ensure: - high availability - sufficient performance - sustainable future viability The firewall must: - securely separate internal networks from WAN and DMZ - analyze data traffic (Layer 7) - actively detect and defend against threats Manufacturer specification (technically justified) As part of the existing IT security architecture, a firewall solution from the manufacturer Palo Alto Networks or an equivalent, fully compatible solution will be procured.
