ekom21 - Kommunales Gebietsrechenzentrum Hessen is a corporation under public law pursuant to the Hessian Data Processing Association Act (DV-VerbundG). The objective of the procurement procedure is to conclude framework agreements for the procurement of firewall systems (Security) in various product classes and product configurations, as well as additional supplementary contractual services. From 01.01.2028, Kommunale Informationsverarbeitung Thüringen GmbH, its co-shareholders, the districts, cities, municipalities, administrative associations and special-purpose associations in the federal state of Thuringia, in each case including their legally independent and dependent institutions and associations and other forms of cooperation, are entitled to procure under this procurement procedure. The procurement procedure encompasses the procurement of firewall systems (Security) in various product classes and product configurations, as well as additional supplementary contractual services. The details are set out in the procurement documents, in particular in the contractual terms and conditions, the specifications and the price sheet. Selection of a single manufacturer across all product categories is mandatory. It is intended to conclude framework agreements with up to four (4) economic operators. Over the standard term of the framework agreement, a maximum value of 15,000,000.00 euros (net) has been set for ekom21 and 1,200,000.00 euros (net) for KIV Thüringen. The framework agreement therefore has a total maximum value of 16,200,000.00 euros (net). The maximum value is based on experience from recent years, including estimated additional requirements.
