Outdoor facilities The Großer Schlosshof is the northernmost and largest of the three palace courtyards. It comprises a trapezoidal area of approx. 2,630 m². It is an object of major importance in terms of art history and of extraordinary structural-engineering and architectural-historical value, and all work requires particular care and caution in relation to monument preservation. After around one third of the inner courtyard was restored in an initial construction phase, the reconstruction of the remaining courtyard area will follow in the second construction phase described here. The invitation to tender includes, among other things, the following services: • Erect, relocate, maintain and remove 300 m of construction fencing • Construct and remove 120 m² of construction road • Demolish 4.5 m² of sandstone slabs • Demolish and dispose of 165 m³ of crushed-stone / gravel / grit surfacing • Demolish 735 m² of asphalt surface • Transport away and recycle 9 provisional concrete candelabra foundations • Clear 1,600 m² of vegetation and roots • Excavate and dispose of 1,390 m³ of soil • Install 390 m³ of soil for subsoil improvement • 10 courtyard drains with cast-iron grating • Supply 870 m² of sandstone slabs, bush-hammered surface • Calibrate, dress, patch and clean 1,050 m² of historic sandstone slabs • Sort, restack, temporarily store and secure for transport 550 pallets containing sandstone slabs • Supply 250 wooden pallets • Process 65 m² of historic sandstone building material into slabs • 45 m² of wood-block paving • 90 m³ of liquid soil • Lay 1,950 m² of sandstone slabs • Adjust 11 existing manhole covers • 6 steel handrail structures for stairs • 54 m of sandstone block steps for stairs and Altan Procedure: open.
