The Pfalzklinikum is planning to expand the juvenile forensic psychiatric facility in the southern area of the hospital grounds at Weinstraße 100, 76889 Klingenmünster. The subject of this EU-wide invitation to tender is the specialist lot for floor coating work. The expansion is planned as a 2-story new building (with partial basement as a watertight concrete structure), including an entrance area and sports hall. The building is designed as an in-situ concrete, semi-prefabricated element (walls/ceilings), and masonry structure. A separate workshop building for the occupational therapy department, connected to the existing Building 50, is also included in the scope of the expansion. The present invitation to tender concerns the specialist lot for floor coating work (substrate preparation and floor and wall coatings using reaction resins for Building 49N and the workshop building). The relevant principal quantities can be found in the following description of the procurement (bill of quantities VWR43-300-10). The subject of this invitation to tender is the floor coating work for the above-mentioned construction project (substrate preparation by shot blasting and floor and wall coatings using 2-component epoxy resin and PU acrylate). In particular, the work comprises coating the sanitary rooms, technical rooms, and workshop in Building 49N, as well as the workshop building; the coatings must be slip-resistant (R10). The main work items according to bill of quantities VWR43-300-10 are: approx. 850 m² shot blasting of floor surfaces and approx. 120 m² shot blasting of wall surfaces (substrate preparation). approx. 230 m² 2-component epoxy resin floor coating, sanitary rooms. approx. 340 m² PU acrylate floor coating, technical rooms. approx. 116 m² 2-component epoxy resin wall coating, sanitary rooms. approx. 250 m² 2-component epoxy resin floor coating, workshop building.
