Germany – Postal services related to letters – Alb-Donau District Office - Award of postal services in an open procedure pursuant to VgV

Opportunity description

The Alb-Donau District Office is inviting tenders for the physical dispatch of mail for the District Office administration as part of a Europe-wide procurement procedure. The service covered by the procurement comprises the collection, franking, and nationwide and international transport and delivery of all types of the contracting authority’s postal items (physical dispatch of mail) up to an individual weight of 2,000 grams. The transport of postal items in standard format (so-called standard letters) constitutes the main subject of the postal services to be provided. The services covered by the procurement will be awarded in two lots: - Lot 1: Physical dispatch of mail Collection (physical outgoing mail), franking, transport and physical delivery of postal items up to 2000 grams as well as Dialogpost (ordinary national and international letters, registered mail). - Lot 2: Physical postal delivery order Physical collection, franking, transport and delivery of letters with a postal service certificate (PZU) The majority of physical mail is sent to recipients in the postal code area 89XXX.
