The Neckar-Odenwald District is putting the physical dispatch of mail for the Neckar-Odenwald District Administration Office out to tender as part of a Europe-wide procurement procedure. The service covered by the procurement includes the collection, franking, and nationwide and international transport and delivery of all types of postal items from the contracting authority (physical dispatch of mail), up to an individual weight of 2,000 grams. The transport of postal items in standard format (so-called standard letters) constitutes the main subject matter of the postal services to be provided. The services covered by the procurement will be awarded in two lots: - Lot 1: Physical dispatch of mail Collection (physical outgoing mail), franking, transport, and physical delivery of postal items up to 2000 grams (ordinary national and international letters, registered mail). - Lot 2: Physical postal service of documents Physical collection, franking, transport, and delivery of letters with a certificate of postal service (PZU) The majority of physical mail is sent to recipients in the 74XXX postal code area.
