Germany – Postal services related to letters – City of Konstanz - Award of postal services under an open procedure pursuant to the VgV. The City of Konstanz is tendering the physical dispatch of mail for this as part of a Europe-wide procurement procedure.

Postal services Description: The service that is the subject of the procurement comprises the collection, franking, and nationwide and international transportation and delivery of postal items (including Dialogpost) of all kinds for the contracting authority (physical dispatch of mail), up to an individual weight of 2,000 grams. The transportation of postal items in standard format (so-called standard letters) constitutes the main subject of the postal services to be provided. Formal postal delivery orders are not the subject of the procedure. No further lots are being tendered. Lots 2 (physical formal postal delivery orders) and 3 (physical dispatch of small parcels and packages), specified in the original invitation to tender, have already been awarded. The majority of physical mail (over 90 percent) is sent to recipients in the 78XXX postal code area.
