On the inner-city site of the Königsegg Primary School in Immenstadt, the existing sports hall will be demolished and replaced by a new replacement building with a sports hall, administration facilities for the school and after-school care center, a children's after-school care center and a cafeteria. The confined inner-city location requires a compact solution on the site of the existing hall. The new building will include a single-court sports hall with ancillary rooms in the basement, administrative rooms for the school and after-school care center on the ground floor, and a two-story after-school care area for approx. 250 children on the two upper floors. A cafeteria with a kitchen for approx. 105 children is also located on the 2nd upper floor. It will be used by the primary school, after-school care center and all-day classes. Barrier-free access to the existing building will be provided by a new elevator in the new building. Accompanying alterations in the school building will enable existing after-school care rooms to be converted for all-day classes. The specialist classrooms in the existing basement will be retained and will also be available to the after-school care center. The new building will be constructed using solid and timber construction methods. The sports hall and the ground floor will be made of reinforced concrete, and the upper floors will use timber-frame and timber-panel construction. The roof is designed as an offset mono-pitch roof with a green roof and sheet-metal covering. The façade combines fiber-cement panels and timber cladding. The outdoor facilities will be restructured. Enclosed outdoor areas for the school and after-school care center, as well as a new all-weather sports field, will be created. This prior information notice covers several trades and/or services.
