Opportunity description

Local rail passenger transport services (SPNV) in Network 66 with at least 17 provided nearly new Siemens Mireo electric traction vehicles under the LCC model. The maintenance site for the vehicles under the LCC model will be in Offenburg. The transport services will be awarded as a gross-cost contract. The term of the transport contract is expected to be 5 years. The scope of services is expected to amount to approximately 3 million train-kilometres per year. Operations are expected to commence in December 2027, depending on the completion of infrastructure measures, on the following routes or route sections: Basel - Waldshut - Singen - Radolfzell; Basel - Offenburg (expected to be individual services); Offenburg - Hausach - Engen - Singen (expected to be individual services). The contracting authority reserves the right to award sales services separately or to remove them from the contract in stages. The successful applicant/tenderer must conclude a provision agreement for the vehicles with SFBW.
