The Zweckverband Abfallwirtschaft Region Hannover operates a mechanical-biological residual waste treatment plant (MBA) at the Hannover-Lahe site. The mechanical treatment plant (MA), in which residual waste is processed in various steps, is followed by biological treatment (BA). In this process, part of the separated fine fraction is sent for anaerobic digestion, during which biogas is produced in three digesters. The digesters are fed by means of two thick-matter pump lines. The digestate from the digesters is partially recirculated. For this purpose, it is pumped back to the feed pumps by two recirculation pumps. The pump units are to be replaced at the same location by new units. The subject of the contract is the dismantling of the old equipment and the delivery and installation of the four new pump units, including all accessories (such as auxiliary units, peripheral equipment, etc.).
