Germany – Railway maintenance or service vehicles – Procurement of up to thirty (30) ballast distributing and profiling machines (SSP)

Opportunity description

Framework agreement for the award of a contract for the procurement of up to 30 ballast distributing and profiling machines. Procedure: Negotiated procedure with prior call for competition Customer: DB BahnbauGruppe GmbH. Key requirements for the vehicles (non-exhaustive): a. High-performance plough technology (flank, shoulder and center plough) for producing ballast profiles in accordance with Ril 824, adjustable plough geometry (height, inclination, extension) with reproducible accuracy b. Work output ≥ 1500 m/h with profiling compliant with regulations c. Suitability for use with all types of track superstructure (concrete, wooden, plastic sleepers) as well as tracks and switches, can operate at a minimum radius of 170 m and with cant of up to 180 mm d. Use on the DB network (at least route class D2) with proof of full authorization in accordance with the 4th Railway Package e. Equipped with ETCS in accordance with the requirements in the specifications and TSI f. The cab(s) is/are ergonomic, user-friendly, air-conditioned, heated and suitable for transporting workers g.
