The project comprises the three building sections heating plant, Wing A and Creative Island.The heating plant (approx. 111 m² floor area) will be constructed as a watertight concrete structure and comprises a load-bearing floor slab (approx. 111 m²) with a continuous frost apron, exterior walls as double-wall elements including parapet (approx. 175 m²), as well as a flat roof (approx. 100 m²).In addition, a utility shaft (1.50 m × 1.50 m) must be constructed for the building service entry. For the installation of five heat pumps, an inclined floor slab (approx. 75 m²) with stepped strip foundations will be constructed. The services include perimeter insulation and waterproofing work.Wing A includes structural shell works for a two-story primary school building with eight classrooms, group rooms and ancillary rooms.The core services are a non-load-bearing floor slab (d = 20 cm, approx. 600 m²), a continuous concrete plinth (approx. 120 linear metres, d = 20 cm, h = 55 cm), strip foundations (approx. 80 m³), an elevator shaft with pit and two stops, as well as a utility shaft (1.50 m × 1.50 m). In addition, minor masonry work is planned. A solid stairwell core extending over two stories will be constructed with walls as double-wall elements in exposed-concrete quality (approx. 240 m²), a two-flight prefabricated staircase with intermediate landing (ground floor/upper floor), a floor slab (d = 20 cm, approx. 48 m²), as well as semi-precast slabs in the ceiling and roof areas (each d = 25 cm). Perimeter insulation and waterproofing work are also part of the scope of services.The Creative Island comprises structural shell works for a single-story primary school building with specialist rooms for music and crafts, as well as an ancillary room.The building is characterized by its organically rounded floor-plan shape.
