In the event of a claim, the operator must demonstrate to the insurer and the employers' liability insurance association that the electrical installations and devices are in proper condition in accordance with VDE; otherwise, the accident insurer may exclude liability if persons suffer permanent injury or even death as a result of such an uninspected device. To prevent claims, the installations and devices must be inspected. The DGUV V3 inspection is the recognized, standards-compliant inspection of electrical devices. The DGUV V3 check examines whether fixed installations and machines as well as portable devices are in proper condition within the meaning of the respectively applicable VDE provision. The performance of electrical equipment inspections in accordance with DGUV V3 (portable equipment) is being tendered as a framework contract and begins upon award, expected in Q3 2026, and initially runs until 31.12.2027. The contracting authority may optionally extend the contract twice by 12 months and once by 6 months, up to a maximum term of 4 years (Q3.2030). The contracting authority shall notify the contractor of this in writing within the final 6 weeks before the possible end of the contract. Separate termination is not required. FAIR GmbH is also entitled to place call-offs under this contract, including all its services. In this context, FAIR GmbH acts as a separate contracting authority with its own ordering procedure and invoicing process. Procedure: open.
