Roof waterproofing works at the Mittelpunkt Primary School in Hungen At the Mittelpunkt Primary School in Hungen, the space requirements are to be met through an extension. The two-storey new building will be constructed using timber construction. The structure consists of timber-frame walls and cross-laminated timber floors. The internal load-bearing structure is planned as a skeleton structure with a few steel columns and timber beams above them. The exterior cladding is planned as suspended grey-glazed timber cladding. In addition, an adequate kitchen and cafeteria area is to be created through restructuring of the existing building (2nd construction phase). The space requirements are to be met through eight new classrooms, a library, offices and differentiation rooms.
