Opportunity description
Procurement of an atomic force microscope for the Chair of Physical Chemistry II at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. The AFM-SECM will be the central instrument of the research group led by Prof. Dr. Siow Woon Ng, which will be established at the Chair of Physical Chemistry II and based in the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). The device will be used in the research group’s ongoing and future projects as well as for planned initiatives in close collaboration with research groups from the fields of chemistry, physics, materials science, and engineering at FAU. Atomic force microscope This call for bids concerns the supply of a solar simulator that produces the solar spectrum for applications in photoelectrochemistry, photocatalysis, and photovoltaic research. The system must be capable of both standalone operation and integration with a scanning probe microscope via a fiber optic coupling. The solar simulator must enable controlled photo-irradiation of samples from multiple directions (with respect to the samples), including top, lateral, and bottom illumination. This capability is required to support a wide range of experimental configurations. Procedure: open. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
